ABC has finally set a premiere date for the third series of critically acclaimed anthology crime drama American Crime.
It’s going to be back in the US on Sunday March 12th with cast members Felicity Huffman, Regina King, Lili Taylor, and Connor Jessup all returning.
The third season will deal with labor issues, economic divides and individual rights, and will be set in North Carolina.

The critically-praised series has been lauded by fans and critics alike, and has a total of ten Emmy nominations and five Golden Globe nominations. The Leftovers star Regina King won the Outstanding Supporting Actress Emmy in 2015 for her portrayal of Aliyah Shadeed in the first season of the hit show, she later won the exact same award the following year for her portrayal of Terri LaCroix in the second season.
Among the new season’s recurring guest stars are Cherry Jones, Janel Moloney, Dallas Roberts, Ana Mulvoy-Ten, Clayton Cardenas, Sandra Oh, and Mickaëlle X. Bizet.
Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman, who will play Jeanette Hesby in the show, recently confirmed to me that creator John Ridley (12 Years a Slave) has “done it again!”. Well, consider us excited!
